Saint-Gobain Weber weberset monohiflex is an ultra-premium, highly polymer-modified, flexible thin-set cementitious tile and stone adhesive engineered by Saint-Gobain Weber. Designed for demanding architectural projects, it delivers high bonding strength, flexibility, and slip-resistant performance for fixing large-format tiles, slim porcelain slabs, engineered stones, and natural stones on internal and external surfaces.
Key Features & Benefits
- High Deformability & Flexibility (S1 Standard): Formulated with premium synthetic polymers that absorb thermal expansion, contraction, dynamic vibrations, and substrate deflection without debonding or cracking.
- Non-Slip / Anti-Sag Performance ('T'): Provides strong initial grab with thixotropic properties, allowing vertical installation of heavy, oversized slabs from the top down without sliding.
- Extended Open & Adjustability Time ('E'): Delivers an open working window of at least 30 minutes, giving installation crews time to position, level, and align large tiles accurately.
- Weather & Water-Immersion Resistance: Dense crystalline structure resists moisture penetration, freezing-thawing cycles, UV exposure, and thermal shock, making it suitable for facades, terraces, and swimming pools.
- Multi-Substrate Adhesion: Bonds reliably to diverse surfaces, including concrete, cement screeds, plasters, drywall boards (gypsum, cement boards), and existing tiles (tile-on-tile applications).
- Self-Curing & Low VOC: Requires no post-installation water curing and is certified with low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) for safe indoor air quality.
Primary Applications
- Suitable Materials: Large-format vitrified tiles, slim porcelain slabs (e.g., 3mm–6mm thickness), glass mosaics, engineered/composite quartz, terrazzo, and natural stones (granite, marble, sandstone).
- Compatible Substrates: Concrete slabs, cementitious screeds, sand-cement plasters, AAC block masonry, drywall boards (cement board, gypsum board), and existing tile/stone surfaces.
- Areas of Use:
- High-rise external wall facades and cladding at elevated heights.
- Heavy foot-traffic commercial spaces (malls, airports, metro stations, showrooms).
- Wet and submerged applications (swimming pools, jacuzzis, water tanks, fountains).
- Rooftop terraces, balconies, and internal living spaces.
Available Variants
- weberset monohiflex Grey: Standard formulation using high-grade grey cement. Ideal for dark vitrified slabs, granite, slate, and exterior facade claddings where stone translucency is not a factor.
- weberset monohiflex White: Formulated with high-purity white cement. Mandatory for light-colored marbles (like Italian Statuario or Carrara), quartzite, composite quartz, and glass mosaics to prevent dark adhesive shadowing from showing through.
